Our cats are NOTORIOUS couch scratchers, but not any more. This end table is so cute and our cats prefer it over our couch, so that’s a huge win for me! We got two and pushed them together to make a coffee table, and it’s actually so cute

I have a small apt & wanted something that was functional and beautiful as furniture but was also cat friendly for my 3 babies. I bought 2 and use them as a coffee table. It’s the perfect size for my place, they were easy to assemble, they’re sturdy and beautiful, and my cats love them. Thank you!
The bottom scratch fabric gets EASILY ripped out by our cats. The manufacturer did NOT secure the fabric with fasteners of any kind. The fabric is simple just “closed in” by the wood frame, but not enough to keep it from getting pulled out by the cats. Otherwise, sturdy piece of furniture and the cats DO like it.

Our cats took to this immediately. It's very sturdy and well made and the design gives the cats a lot of options for different ways to stretch while they scratch it. Definitely a success for us!
The table seems like it could have been a decent piece, but on of the rods was bent, which made it hard to twist into place. Had to use a wrench, and ended up twisting too much and it went through the to of table.

Does the scratcher pad need to be replaced?
Yes, the sisal pad is replaceable. Replacement pads are available in our Accessories section. Most cats go through one pad every 6-12 months depending on usage.
Is this sturdy enough to hold a lamp?
Absolutely. The table surface supports up to 25 lbs — plenty for lamps, books, plants, or your coffee cup.
